Mc-28 Flow Induced Vibration of Shrouded Corotating Disk Systems in Subcritical Speed Range

Abstract: Present study focuses on an interaction of fiow instability and elastic vibration ofa multiple disk system rotating with sub-critical speed, The simultaneous measurements of the flow velocity between disks and the transverse displacement of the disk reveal that the fluid-solid interactions are net negligible even in low speed range fbur below the flutter or critical speed.
