(1) Background: There is a gap in the literature that explores challenges and opportunities relating to virtual or e-assessment health science education with particular relevance to the Health Sciences Education practical examination for student nurse educators. Therefore, this review aimed to address this gap and provide recommendations for enhancing identified opportunities and for overcoming identified challenges.; (2) Methods: The review was conducted across Google Scholar, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Direct, Directory of Open Access Journals, Complementary Index, SCOPUS, and the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) with the intention of identifying opportunities and challenges presented by e-assessment in the HSE practical examination for student nurse educators during the COVID-19 pandemic.; (3) Results: The following aspects are discussed: (1) opportunities, including benefits, for both student nurse educators and facilitators and opportunities for Nursing Education; and (2) challenges, including issues with accessibility and connectivity as well as the attitudes of both students and facilitators.; (4) Conclusions: Despite challenges which included connectivity issues that led to frustration and stress, the unpreparedness and attitudes of students and facilitators, there are some opportunities that have emerged from e-assessment that can be beneficial to both the students and the facilitators, as well as the institutions. These include a reduced administrative burden, improved teaching and learning, and immediate feedback from facilitators to students and from students to facilitators.

Nurse students’ satisfaction towards blended learning program

Purpose: The implementation of online learning during Covid-19 presents challenges especially for nursing education. Nurse students during online learning did not receive enough opportunities to learn clinical skill. Blended learning becomes an alternative in nursing education during Covid-19 pandemic because it offers both face-to-face and online learning. Participants and methods: The participants of the current study were nurse students in nursing education university in Bali. 105 nurse students were invited to join blended learning program. After blended learning program, they were asked to fill an online questionnaire. 10 students were also invited to join interview. Results: The results confirmed that students are satisfied with the interaction (M=3.77, SD=.783), instruction (M=4.04, SD=.794), instructor (M=3.88, SD=.685), and course management (M=4.06, SD=.657) of blended learning implementation. However, in terms of technology the students are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied (M=3.41, SD=.800) with blended learning program. Conclusion: This study concluded that blended learning could be used as an alternative teaching and learning approach for nursing education especially in Covid-19 pandemic era.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the implementation of learning. Research that explores the implementation of distance learning assessments during the pandemic is carried out using a mix-method approach. This approach is used to explore quantitative and qualitative information in depth. Quantitative data were obtained by surveying the teachers of SD N 2 Ngijo and SD Integrative Islamic Pesantren Rakyat. Qualitative data were obtained by field study and interviews with school administrators (principals and teachers) and parents of students. The results showed that based on the aspects of Online Assessment Implementation, Assessment Principles, and Reliability of the assessment instruments used in distance learning assessments, the score was more than 60%. This percentage is in the excellent category for the implementation of distance learning assessment. However, in reality, many factors have a significant influence on the implementation of distance learning assessments. Economic factors are the main factors in providing supporting facilities and infrastructure in carrying out distance learning assessments that do not take place according to concepts and theories.
