Mathematical modeling of a modified scheibel liquid‐liquid extraction column in the frequency domain

Abstract: The frequency response of a modified Scheibel liquid‐liquid extraction column was experimentally determined from pulse testing data obtained by Pollock. Mathematical modeling was carried out in the frequency domain. Several non‐identical, non equilibrium, perfect mixing stage models were used to describe the dynamic behavior of the column.
