Mathematical and laboratory modeling of resonant impact on the spike for the purpose of grain selection

Abstract: Mathematical and computer finite element model in the ACELAN package of resonant impact on a spike was developed and a full-scale experiment was carried out. Two installations are considered, one based on a cantilever, the free end of which acts on the spike, and the second is a semi-passive round bimorph. Excitation of vibrations is carried out using an actuator based on piezoceramic elements. In the first installation, low-frequency vibrations of the stem with a spike are excited and the resonance frequency … Show more

“…The increase in soil carbon content can indicate a turn from mineralization to the accumulation of soil organic matter, which can play a major role in global carbon sequestration and mitigating the climate changes originating from increasing carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere. Therefore, reduced tillage practices could be beneficial not only from the agricultural, but also from the global perspective [20][21][22][23][24][25].…”

“…2). Based on the analysis of the above surfaces, rational values of the grinder parameters are determined, at which the grinding modulus is 1.3 mm, the energy consumption is 0.472 kW • s/kg, then the circumferential speed of the hammers is 100 m/s, the moisture content of the material varies from 13.6% to 14.1%, the diameter of the holes of the separation screen is 5 mm, and the number of rows of hammers will be 4 [11][12][13].…”

“…The solution to this problem requires the development and creation of adequate analytical and numerical physical-mechanical models, including models based on CAD-CAE complexes, which are able to describe the interaction between the elements of the stem-column-grain system. At the same time, there are physical-mechanical models of the process of working bodies of grain harvesting equipment and their impact on the stem-spike-grain system [10,11,[29][30][31][32]. Obtaining such models will make it possible to substantiate the design and kinematic parameters of a new harvesting unit by the root combing method.…”
