Matematik Başarısının Geometriye Yönelik Tutum ve Geometri İnancı ile İlişkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract: Öz: Özellikle matematiğin önemli bir alt öğrenme alanı olarak ifade edilen geometri son dönemlerde öğrenci merkezli öğrenme sürecine destek olmakta, somut nesnelerin soyut hale getirilmesinde ciddi manada kolaylık sağlamaktadır. Show more

“…Yang (2012) stated that students' beliefs limited their problem-solving skills. In the literature, it was stated that negative beliefs and attitudes towards mathematics are among the reasons why students did not use their mathematical knowledge in the problem solving process (Op't Eynde et al, 2002;İlhan et al, 2021).…”

“…Students' beliefs about the nature of mathematics can affect different variables such as their academic success (İlhan, Gemcioğlu, & Poçan, 2021;Kayaaslan, 2006), problem-solving success (Op't Eynde, Corte, & Verschaffel, 2002;Yang, 2012) and motivation (Kandemir & Gür, 2011). Considering especially problem solving among these variables, according to Schoenfeld (1992), one of the most common beliefs of students about the nature of mathematics is that they think that there is only one answer to mathematical problems.…”
