The frequent occurrence of urban waterlogging constantly affects resident living and urban construction. Improved adaptive prevention and control strategies are highly requested due to huge economic losses and casualties caused by flood and waterlogging in China. The urban waterlogging may evolve into a serious emergency, generally characterized by high complexity, uncertainty, and time pressure. Coupled with the asymmetric information, waterlogging often exacerbates the impact of urban rainstorm disasters. Through the multi-agent system simulation with given geographic information, government and residents interact under dynamic risk distribution in rainstorm disaster. The results show that the proactive attitude of residents and the government towards disaster relief could have a promoting effect for both, thereby increasing the disaster relief efficiency. Obviously, rapid accurate information collection and analysis facilitate disaster relief to a large extent. Meanwhile, appropriate supply rather than excessive supply may mobilize residents’ self-help and balance replenishment of relief supplies.

At present, urban disasters are generally valued by various companies and organizations. Although many companies claim to have effectively tested their urban disaster recovery plans, the effectiveness, completeness, and efficiency of their test plans still exist in many aspects. Therefore, it is very important to effectively check the city’s disaster recovery plan. Nowadays, both the scientific research community and the industrial community have paid enough attention and research to urban disaster backup. This is a shield of a guaranteed simulation system. The research in this paper belongs to the category of urban disaster virtual reality technology. Urban disaster virtualization is an integral part of virtual reality technology in the current information technology field. Based on the embedded image system, this article divides the virtualization of urban disasters into two meanings: one is to virtualize various disasters into one type of disaster, so as to focus attention on the process and mechanism of disasters on the information system. The meaning is to virtualize different disaster response methods in the standard process, and all links are interrelated and interdependent so that the highest level of disaster response can be implemented. The main goal of disaster virtualization is to integrate different disasters into a comprehensive model. This paper studies urban disasters through embedded image systems and uses virtual reality technology to establish a simulation system to complete the test.

Research Progress of Urban Floods under Climate Change and Urbanization: A Scientometric Analysis

Urban floods research has been attracting extensive attention with the increasing threat of flood risk and environmental hazards due to global climate change and urbanization. However, there is rarely a comprehensive review of this field and it remains unclear how the research topics on urban floods have evolved. In this study, we analyzed the development of urban floods research and explored the hotspots and frontiers of this field by scientific knowledge mapping. In total, 3314 published articles from 2006 to 2021 were analyzed. The results suggest that the number of published articles in the field of urban floods generally has an upward trend year by year, and the research focus has shifted from exploring hydrological processes to adopting advanced management measures to solve urban flood problems. Moreover, urban stormwater management and low impact development in the context of climate change and urbanization have gradually become research hotspots. Future research directions based on the status and trends of the urban floods field were also discussed. This research can not only inspire other researchers and policymakers, but also demonstrates the effectiveness of scientific knowledge mapping analysis by the use of the software CiteSpace and VOSviewer.
