We prove norm inflation and hence ill-posedness for a class of shallow water wave equations, such as the Camassa-Holm equation, Degasperis-Procesi equation and Novikov equation etc., in the critical Sobolev space H 3/2 and even in the Besov space B 1+1/p p,r for p ∈ [1, ∞], r ∈ (1, ∞]. Our results cover both realline and torus cases (only real-line case for Novikov), solving an open problem left in the previous works ([5, 14, 16]).
In this work, we first report a fast, facile hydrothermal method to synthesize delafossite CuFeO2 crystals through lowtemperature (100-160 °C) reaction. In detail, CuFeO2 crystals with submicron-sized (100-300 nm) could be obtained based on hydrothermal reaction from the starting materials of Cu(NO3)2, FeCl2 and NaOH at 100 °C for 12h. Furthermore, the TG curve of CuFeO2 is similar to other copper based delafossite oxides, and CuFeO2 tend to be oxidized by O2 in air at a higher sintering temperature (> 400°C ). The obtained CuFeO2 film has an optical transmission of 50-60% in visible region, and the optical bandgap for the direct band transition was estimated to be 3.18 eV. Finally, the magnetic hysteresis loops measured at room temperature show CuFeO2 crystals exhibit antiferromagnetic behavior, the Néel temperature (TN) about 11 K and the biggest magnetic susceptibility around 0.168 emu g -1 . This quick and facile method maybe opens a new route for preparation of CuFeO2 crystals, due to the low reaction temperature and short reaction time.
Poor public health is always associated with the mismanagement of municipal solid waste (MSW). Many cities are besieged by MSW in the world. It is essential to do a good job in MSW management (MSWM). In order to improve the efficiency of MSWM, the Chinese government has intensively implemented relevant policies. There are still few studies on MSWM efficiency in China. The research aims to comprehensively analyze MSWM efficiency, find high-efficiency MSWM policy implementation routes and the breakthrough on improving MSWM efficiency. To measure Chinese MSWM efficiency accurately, this paper introduced the three-stage data envelopment analysis (DEA) model into the research. According to the results of DEA, Fuzzy c-Means algorithm was used to the cluster analysis of 33 typical cities. After eliminating the interference of the external environment and random disturbance, the mean value of MSWM efficiency declined from 0.575 to 0.544. The mean of pure technical efficiency (PTE) was declined from 0.966 to 0.611, while the mean of scale efficiency (SE) increased from 0.600 to 0.907. The PTE of central and northeastern cities was relatively low. The SE of western cities was comparatively high and the efficiency distribution of the eastern region was relatively scattered. In general, MSWM efficiency is low and expected to be improved. Regional differences in MSWM efficiency have been shown. The management effectiveness of eight pilot cities (MSW classification) is affirmative but not that significant. To improve MSWM efficiency, differential management for four types of cities should be carried out.
Purpose This study aims to analyze reform path for waste management policy implementation. With reference to the Bayesian theory, this study provides a dynamic policy conversion method through various context settings. Furthermore, this study attempts to present an empirical research paradigm. Design/methodology/approach Matland’s “ambiguity-conflict model” is applied to explain the problems and reform paths of China’s waste management policy implementation. Integrating structure discovery and bibliometrics into qualitative analysis, this study used search data from literature search engine with specific themes to achieve structure learning of Bayesian network with key factors refined in waste management policy. Findings The results show that China’s waste management policy implementation belongs to symbolic implementation with high ambiguity and high conflict. Four basic conversion paths for the waste management policy are proposed, which are classified by length and stability. Then, it is possible to locate the factors, paths and types of policy implementation through involvement analysis with features of each path and each district of policy implementation. Public education holds direct but unstable impact on waste management. Economic incentives hold continuous but gradually diminishing impact. Perceived policy effectiveness plays the crucial role like a central bridge. Resident conditions have a positive impact, which could be enhanced through economic development of China. The impact of subjective norm on waste management is not significant. But subjective norm has the potential breakthrough for solving stagnation of waste classification policy. However, the impacts from each factor may change along with economy growth and technology innovation. Originality/value This study uses the “ambiguity-conflict model” to position China’s waste classification policy and suggests that structure discovery methods help understand feasible reform paths for reform policy. The integration of theoretical analysis and quantitative simulation can achieve a comprehensive analysis of problems and solutions in waste management policy implementation of China. Promotion and education, economic incentives, perceived value, behavior control, subjective norm, perceived policy effectiveness, informal waste recycling system and residential conditions are explored as key factors for waste classification policy implementation as a representative in waste management policy. The role of each key factor and features of each conversion paths are integrated to position reform paths in the ambiguity-conflict model. This work helps to explain the stagnation of waste management policy implementation from the perspective of dynamic structure evolution, and some specific suggestions to get out of stagnation are proposed.
Five chemotypes, the isoborneol-type, camphora-type, cineole-type, linalool-type and borneol-type of Cinnamomum camphora (L.) Presl have been identified at the molecular level based on the multivariate analysis of mass spectral fingerprints recorded from a total of 750 raw leaf samples (i.e., 150 leaves equally collected for each chemotype) using desorption atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometry (DAPCI-MS). Both volatile and semi-volatile metabolites of the fresh leaves of C. camphora were simultaneously detected by DAPCI-MS without any sample pretreatment, reducing the analysis time from half a day using conventional methods (e.g., GC-MS) down to 30 s. The pattern recognition results obtained using principal component analysis (PCA) was cross-checked by cluster analysis (CA), showing that the difference visualized by the DAPCI-MS spectral fingerprints was validated with 100% accuracy. The study demonstrates that DAPCI-MS meets the challenging requirements for accurate differentiation of all the five chemotypes of C. camphora leaves, motivating more advanced application of DAPCI-MS in plant science and forestry studies.
Non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide, and early diagnosis needs to be improved. We examined whether neutral desorption extractive electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ND-EESI-MS) could be used to detect sputum lipids expression changes to enable earlier diagnosis. Overall, 167 NSCLC patients and 140 controls were enrolled. The main peaks in the sputum of patients with NSCLC patients differed from controls (83.3% of total variability), and the signals were not associated with pathological type, TNM stage or smoking history. The relative abundance of peaks at m/z734, m/ z756, m/z772, m/z782, m/z798 and m/z803 reliably distinguished NSCLC sputum from control. Collision-induced dissociation confirmed that m/z734, m/z756, and m/z772 represented [DPPC + H]+, [DPPC + Na]+, and [DPPC + K]+, respectively, and m/z782, m/z798, and m/z803 represented sphingomyelin, phosphatidylglycerol, and phosphatidylglycerolphosphate, respectively. The relative abundance of DPPC was clearly lower in NSCLC sputum than in control, and the relative abundances of phosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylglycerolphosphate were higher in NSCLC sputum than in control. The detection of changes in sputum lipids with ND-EESI-MS may be a noninvasive, radiation-free, relatively inexpensive, repeatable, and efficient method for diagnosis of NSCLC.
