BiographyJack G. Wiggins Jr. was the New Year's baby in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1926, the only child of Jack G. and Blanche M. Wiggins. His father was an insurance executive and moved the family to Oklahoma City in 1933. In elementary school, Wiggins became an avid reader of Albert Wiggam's "Exploring Your Mind" newspaper column, which appeared on the page next to the funnies.
