Manfaat Ekonomi Penerapan Standar Pada Usaha Kecil Menengah Menggunakan ISO Methodology

Abstract

AbstrakPenerapan standar memberikan manfaat positif bagi UKM, antara lain membantu meningkatkan kualitas barang dan jasa, membantu pertumbuhan, mengurangi biaya dan meningkatkan keuntungan bisnis serta membuat bisnis memiliki keunggulan kompetitif. Namun, manfaat-manfaat ini lebih banyak yang bersifat intangible dan bersifat makro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manfaat ekonomi penerapan standar pada UKM. Data primer manfaat ekonomi penerapan standar diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan para ahli (supervisor) pada tiap-tiap fungsi bisnis dan pemilik UKM UD Gerak Tani, UD Sari Rasa dan PT Bali Alus. Data primer dianalisis menggunakan metode Economic Benefit Standard -ISO Methodology. Penerapan standar pada UKM memberikan keuntungan (benefit) ekonomi, pada studi kasus di UD Gerak Tani (UKM produsen bumbu siap pakai di Bekasi) mendapatkan keuntungan ekonomi sebesar Rp. 110.590.179,00 per tahun, UD Sari Rasa (UKM produsen tempe kedelai segar di Semarang) sebesar Rp. 348.762.300,00 per tahun dan PT Bali Alus (UKM produsen bahan-bahan spa di Denpasar) sebesar Rp. 45.506.702,00 per tahun. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic benefits of the implementation of standards by SMEs.
