School-based Management is the most appropriate alternative concept for the concept of granting authority to schools by making it easier to implement educational services that accommodate children with spe-cial needs. This study aims to describe school-based management in-cluding the application of school autonomy; organizing creative and fun active learning; fostering community participation; and education-al quality achievements. descriptive qualitative phenomenology with a case study design in SLB-A Negeri 3 Martapura, Banjar Regency. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documenta-tion. The results showed that schools implemented school autonomy in implementing school regulations regarding the discipline of all school members. innovative learning is PAKEM learning that applies the strategy and role of the teacher in learning. Fostering community participation through developing school plans, establishing regula-tions, and solving problems. The quality of education consists of aca-demic and non-academic achievements. The advice given to school principals is expected to maintain and further increase the involve-ment of teachers, parents, and the community in formulating school policies and programs.

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of accountability, transparency, and effectiveness in managing the School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in public and private Junior High School in Banda Aceh City. This research involved two objects, Junior High School 3 Banda Aceh and Islamic Junior High School YPUI Darul Ulum. This research used the qualitative descriptive method and also used primary and secondary data in data collection. The primary data were obtained directly by interviewing informants that were BOS coordinator in Education and Culture Services of Banda Aceh City and school BOS team consisting of the school principal and BOS treasure. The data were collected by direct observation in the field. The secondary data were collected by using documentation technique. In analyzing the data, the researcher used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The result of the study showed that the accountability, transparency, and effectiveness in managing the School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in Junior High School 3 Banda Aceh were in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) No. 26 of 2017 which reflected good governance, while the management of the School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in Islamic Junior High School YPUI Darul Ulum Banda Aceh in terms of transparency was still not perfect, but in terms of accountability and effectiveness were in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture (Permendikbud) No. 26 of 2017.

The low quality of early childhood education management in Indonesia can be seen from the results of accreditation that refer to national education standards. This study offers a solution that is to streamline management through the application of a management model based on national standards for early childhood education, which is integrated with a management information system. This article describes the process of formulating and testing a model called MPAUD-SNSI. The tests conducted at 45 schools in Bengkulu Province showed that the model and application of the management information system produced in this study were valid and reliable. The spider diagram simulation feature in the application can conduct a self-evaluation before applying for accreditation. This evaluation helps schools to improve the quality of management sustainably. The empirical test results show that if the indicators in the PAUD-SNSI model are applied in schools, the level of effectiveness of school management can reach the very effective criteria.
