This study evaluates user acceptance of a gamification-enabled collaboration and knowledge sharing platform that has been developed for use by personnel in industrial work environments, aiming at increasing motivation for knowledge exchange. The platform has been evaluated at two manufacturing industries by two groups of users, workers and supervisors, with regard to five criteria: usability, knowledge integration, working experience, user acceptance and overall impact. Results showed that even though the ratings from both industries were positive on all criteria, there is room for improvement on user acceptance and knowledge integration. Driven by this fact, a rule-based adaptive gamification approach which exploits information about workers is proposed in order to further increase motivation and engagement. Based on feedback received from the evaluation, guidelines related to functionalities and design of a gamified collaboration platform are provided. These guidelines can be followed when implementing collaboration tools with gamification support for industrial environments.

CV. Jaya Prima adalah sebuah usaha yang proses bisnis utamanya bergerak pada bidang bahan plastik seperti sarung tangan plastik, plastik sampah, wadah mika dan bahan plastik lainnya. Perusahaan memiliki permasalahan penting pada proses penjualan yang berjalan saat ini masih bersifat konvensional sehingga menghambat dalam proses transaksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan penjualan konvensional yang terjadi dengan merancang suatu sistem e-commerce berbasis web agar pelanggan dapat melakukan pemesanan secara online. Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan adopsi e-commerce, perusahaan dapat mempercepat proses transaksi, meningkatkan efisiensi, dan memperluas jangkauan pasar, sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sistem e-commerce dapat digunakan oleh pelanggan untuk melakukan pemesanan secara online sekaligus mempermudah proses promosi dan transaksi bisnis kepada pelanggan. Metode pengujian sistem yang digunakan User Acceptance Testing (UAT), dimana hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92,3% yang menunjukan bahwa sistem informasi E-Commerce berbasis website telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan Pengguna.

Abstract. The Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) problem has been considered as one of the most important challenging task in Natural Language Processing (NLP) research area. Even though, many of scientists applied the robust machine learning, statistical techniques, and structural pattern matching approach, the performance of WSD is still not able to bit human results due to the complexity of human language. In order to overcome this limitation, currently, the knowledge base such as WordNet has gained high popularity among researchers due to the fact that this knowledge base can extensively provide not only the definitions of nouns and verbs, but also the semantic networks between senses which were defined by linguists. However, knowledge bases are not fully dealing with entire words of human languages because maintaining and expanding the knowledge base is huge task which requires many efforts and time. Expanding knowledge base is not a big issue to concern however, a new approach is the major goal of this paper to solve WSD problem only based on limited knowledge resources. In this paper, we propose a method, named low ambiguity first (LAF) algorithm, which disambiguates a polysemous word with a low ambiguity degree first with given disambiguated words, based on the structural semantic interconnections (SSI) approach. The LAF algorithm is based on the two hypothesises that first, adjacent words are semantically relevant than other words far way. Second, word ambiguity can be measured by frequency differences between synsets of the given word in WordNet. We have proved these hypothesises in the experiment results, the LAF algorithm can improve the performance of traditional WSD results.
