Management of the sustainable development of machine-building enterprises: a sustainable development space approach

Abstract: PurposeThe paper embarks on the development of theory and methodology for managing the sustainable development of machine-building enterprises through the use of quantitative modeling tools. The article proposes an algorithm for estimating the position of an enterprise in its competitive space for sustainable development.Design/methodology/approachThe three dimensions of sustainability (social, economic, environmental) are represented by the equations based on the multiple criteria of sustainability. The three… Show more

“…Depending on the qualitative estimation of the set of these parameters, an auxiliary database is created for the categories of delivery: the use for each type of cargo, only for logistics operations with the objective delivery function subject to time, only for logistics operations with the objective delivery function subject to cost (for example, for formation of warehouse reserves, in particular, coal for heat-power stations) [9,19,[23][24][25][26]. Formation of such an auxiliary database by categories of delivery allows to save time of calculations and resources of computer equipment [27][28][29][30].…”

“…It also takes advantage of operational experience and provides suggestions on chemical processes without hard intervention [16,17]. The success of FIS is evident from its applicability and relevance in extensive research areas: control systems, engineering, medicine, chemistry, finance and business, computer networks, computational biology, fault detection and diagnosis and pattern recognition [18,19]. It holds high promise in the realization of SRE for complicated and black-box processes like the fluorochemical engineering processes.…”

“…According to the military doctrine of the Russian Federation, the lack of manpower in large-scale aggression in the absence of a coherent front line and considerable depth raids should be compensated by the high mobility of troops [2]. This level of threat requires significant efforts from Ukraine to form a reliable supply of troops and efficient logistics [3][4][5][6][7].…”
