“…‘Flagellate’ erythema induced by bleomycin is supposed to be caused by a microtrauma such as scratching [1]; however, its precise cause is still unknown. The histological examination reveals that the epidermis shows hyperkeratosis with focal parakeratosis and irregular acanthosis, spongiosis and exocytosis of lymphocytes, and the dermis shows edema, vasodilation and perivascular lymphocytic infiltration [1, 5].
