“…In an extensive lit erature search only 1 case was found. Lyall [19] reported a malignant melanoma which developed at a pigmented spot on the tip of the right middle fingernail in a 12-month-old boy. Therefore, malignant melanoma in the nail area in children is extremely rare.…”
