Malformación del miembro torácico derecho en Trachemys dorbigni

Abstract: ABSTRACT. Malformations in turtles, although not rare, have been poorly documented. This paper presents a case of malformation in a black-bellied slider Trachemys dorbigni. A free-living juvenile male specimen was evaluated. Radiographic examination showed absence of the right forelimb. Malformations may be due to chemical changes in the environment.
