Our finding further reveals high prevalence of malaria in younger women, this corroborate the findings of Haruna and Daskum, (2018) who reported a higher prevalence in pregnant women between the ages of 25-29 years than older women, and Dicko et al (2003) who revealed that teenagers and young adult pregnant women were more susceptible to malaria than older pregnant women. Dicko et al (2003) further attribute the development of immunity to malaria in older women as a result of frequent infections as the cause of leading to low parasitaemia in adult women.…”
