Making the Grade: Predicting Retention in Undergraduate Teacher Education

Abstract: Researchers describe results from a longitudinal study of variables predicting retention in undergraduate teacher education. Selected teacher candidates' background characteristics were correlated with undergraduate grade point ratio (GPR) as a measure of academic success.
