Major Fusarium species and mycotoxins associated with freshly harvested maize grain in Uruguay

Abstract: Fusarium species are common fungal pathogens of maize. Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium verticillioides, among others, can cause maize ear rot, and they are also mycotoxin producers.
