Magmatismo há ca. 660 - 640 Ma no Domínio Socorro: registros de convergência pré-colisional na aglutinação do Gondwana Ocidental

Abstract: Palavras-chave: convergência pré-colisional, Neoproterozóico, Província Mantiqueira. “…The SGN exposes an approximately 20 km slice of lower to intermediate crust, strongly affected in the Neoproterozoic by high-grade metamorphism that generated granulite at the lowermost levels and migmatite and anatectic granite over most of the terrain. Precollisional calc-alkaline granites, largely converted to orthogneisses, formed during 660-640 Ma and are thought to reflect oceanic plate subduction (Hackspacher et al, 2003). The age of the main metamorphic event is well constrained by U-Pb zircon and monazite dating of the crustal granites ($625 Ma; Janasi, 2002) and coincides with the age of the voluminous high-K calc-alkaline magmatism (630-620 Ma;Tö pfner, 1996;Ebert et al, 1996;Janasi, unpublished data).…”
