Lymphangiogenesis in colorectal cancer—Prognostic and therapeutic aspects

Abstract: Colorectal cancer (CRC) represents the second most common cause of cancer mortality in the western world. The tumors frequently show metastatic spread which affects different organs such as lymph nodes, liver and lungs.
