Abstract:Complete closed talus dislocation is a rare and serious injury, with a bad prognosis due to the risk of avascular necrosis. This article describes the clinical case of a young soccer player, who during sports competition suffered an injury in his right ankle, after bad positioning of his foot on the ground. On examination, an irreducible deformity in supination of the foot was evident, and the X-ray and the CT-scan showed a complete anterolateral talus dislocation associated with a peroneal malleolus fracture.… Show more
