Abstract: <b><i>Introduction:</i></b> Luteolin is a flavonoid polyphenolic compound exerting broad pharmacological and medicinal properties. Diabetes-related obesity increases the total blood volume and cardiac output and may increase the myocardial hypertrophy progression.
