Abstract: Resumo Esse artigo discute como a luta indígena do povo Mbya Guarani pode ser compreendida como uma dimensão necessária para o estudo da promoção de saúde; luta que se dá em uma situação em que as comunidades manifestam a vivência de uma série de conflitos denunciados, como desrespeito do Estado brasileiro aos seus direitos constitucionais.
