<i>Engraulis anchoita</i> (Clupeiformes: Engraulidae) eggs and larvae in the Southeastern Brazilian Bight: new perspectives from a historical data set (1974 - 2010)

Abstract

First of all I would like to thank both of my advisors, Prof. Mario Katsuragawa (IOUSP) and Prof. Jefferson T. Turner (SMAST-UMASS), for all of the support offered throughout these years. You both were so kind for sharing your knowledge with me, patient with all of my corrections, and very helpful in dealing with the bureaucracies involved in the double degree program. I would like also to thank my "third" advisor, the IOUSP technician Maria de Lourdes Zani-Teixeira, who sometimes was a second mother, helping not just with the research, but also with personal problems.
