Objectives: To analyze the current way medications are prepared and administered in the hospital setting and to apply a method to establish priorities for problems detected. Method: This is an exploratory-descriptive case study. The data were collected through observation and focus groups with 13 participants who were part of a health team in a surgical inpatient unit of a public university hospital. The analysis was based on a lean production framework. Results: A value stream map was constructed of the current way drugs are prepared and administered, identifying the clients in the process and their requirements. Forty-five current problems were identified, based on requirements that were not met with eight being prioritized to improve planning. Conclusion: Having prioritized the problems, the planning and implementation of continuous improvements in the medication process were started in order to reduce errors and improve the quality of services.

A pesquisa relatada tratou da elaboração de estratégia de intervenção em grupo psicoterapêutico, com atuação formativa ou educativa, subsidiada pela Psicologia Histórico-Cultural (PHC). Objetivou-se investigar contribuições da PHC para o trabalho com grupos psicoterapêuticos; assim como explorar possibilidades de se utilizar reproduções da Arte pictórica e dados históricos -tanto a contextualização histórica das obras apresentadas quanto elementos da história do Brasil e da região, considerando o processo educativo como parte da estratégia psicoterapêutica. Contou com investigações bibliográfica e de campo, sendo que esta consistiu na formação de um grupo psicoterapêutico composto por 7 mulheres em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde. Após 20 encontros, os resultados indicaram que o emprego de reproduções de obras de Arte e de dados históricos demonstrou-se eficaz como recurso disparador do processo de maior consciência: por meio delas, as participantes expuseram suas histórias de vida e seus sentidos pessoais acerca dos temas trabalhados; assim, expressaram melhorias em relação às queixas iniciais e redução do sofrimento psíquico.

Objective: to investigate the knowledge and attitude of school adolescents regarding sexual violence. Method: a qualitative study with data gathering, based on Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s Phenomenology of Perception, conducted in April 2018 with 12 adolescents from a state school in Recife, using the focus group technique. For data systematization, thematic content analysis was used in the following steps: pre-analysis, material exploration, treatment of results and interpretation. Results: three thematic categories were established: adolescents’ perceptions of sexual violence; reflective construction of adolescents on the factors of exposure to sexual violence; and facilitating aspects for the prevention of adolescent sexual violence. Conclusion: the perception of adolescents regarding sexual violence is influenced by cultural, structural, social, economic, psychological and biological aspects, which should be considered in the planning of actions aimed at preventing sexual violence for this public.
