Most of the works on seedlings describe their morphology, but there are some studies that treat of the anatomy of organs of seedlings of other families, as shown by Souza, Lopes, and Almeida (2007), Jesus et al (2014), Santos, Dariva, Müller, Almeida, and Souza (2014) and Lopes and Souza (2015).
