<b>Eugenia no contexto do atual desenvolvimento das tecnologias genéticas: as deficiências em foco

Abstract: Neste texto faz-se uma reflexão sobre o discurso eugênico no contexto do atual desenvolvimento das tecnologias genéticas, orientando-se para tanto, pelas considerações de Theodor W. Adorno sobre o conceito de progresso numa sociedade marcada por um clima propício à barbárie, à frieza e à dessensibilização no tocante ao uso das intervenções genéticas sobre o corpo dos sujeitos considerados imperfeitos/deficientes.
