“…A more or less single semicircle curve representative of a single phase Sr 5 EuCr 3 Nb 7 O 30 compound with a single relaxation process occurs in all the six cases. As reported in SrBi 2 Ta 2 O 9 or Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 [12,24], the single semicircle represents that the impedance contribution is primarily due to the grains. A little deviation occurs from the semicircle in the secondary effects from the grain surfaces or grain boundaries at the low temperatures in curves (a) and (b).…”

“…The decrease in Z with rise in temperature and frequencies indicates the possibility of an increase in the ac conductivity with increasing temperature and frequency [20]. The merging of real part of the impedance (Z ) curves in the higher frequency region may be attributed to release of space charge as a result of lowering of the barrier properties of the materials at higher temperatures in the high frequency region [21]. An enhancement in the value of Z with increasing Ca concentration may possibly be due to a decrease in the conduction path arising as a result of the lattice distortion on Ca-doping in BaSnO 3 .…”

“…We found that in the range of extra PbO from 0.3 to 0.8 g, almost pure perovskite was obtained (94wt% perovskite). As reported 9 , lead loss due to volatilization of PbO during sintering leads to the formation of a Pb-deficient pyrochlore, and conversely, excess PbO promotes formation of a Pb-rich pyrochlore. Pyrochlore phase mostly occurs at the surface of the plates 10 .…”
