The paper presents the results of a number of author's studies on the possibilities of using new media and the Internet to design innovative social reality in the conditions of such a polyethnoconfessional region as the Republic of Tatarstan. Using an example of an analysis of online discussion and practices around two problematic cases (the obligation to learn the Tatar language by schoolchildren of the republic and the construction of a new incinerator in the territory of Tatarstan), we managed to obtain results, firstly, regarding typical areas of using the Internet by users, and models for their responding to online information; secondly, an assessment of the main sources of information about the Republic of Tatarstan in the network, representations of the positive and negative aspects of the life in the republic in the context of online discussion; thirdly, to identify groups of factors that determine the degree of activity demonstrated by users of social networks online and offline; and, finally, describe strategies for linking online and offline activity when discussing socially significant problems of the republic. The conclusions indicate the factors and necessary conditions for mobilizing users of online discussions for specific actions outside the Internet (participating in meetings, flash mobs, and charity events, joining various kinds of communities, and establishing new personal contacts).

Abstract: The expansion of the Russian Empire was accompanied by a steady increase of its ethnocultural diversity. The weak integration of Russian society prompted the ruling circles to search for effective ways of the annexed people introduction to the sociocultural values that dominate in the country. The problem of acculturation was most difficult in Central Asia, annexed to Russia only in the second half of the 19th century. School policy was recognized as the most important means of foreigner adaptation to the all-Russian cultural space. However, it had a rather differentiated character in different regions of the empire. The aim of the undertaken research is to identify the main trends in the formation and development of Russian educational policy in Turkestan, to identify its specifics and general aspects with politics in other Muslim regions. The analysis of legislative acts, paperwork, historical and ethnographic, statistical collections, periodical press materials, as well as the works of prominent adherents of foreign education allowed the author to draw a conclusion about the unity of the goal-setting principles and established traditions of state educational policy regarding the Muslim population. Its most important trend was school policy aimed at local people integration into the public education system. At the same time, the weak "development" of the Central Asian region prompted the authorities to apply more cautious forms of educational policy in comparison with other, relatively integrated parts of the country.

The article is dedicated to the students' social adjustment to acknowledged informative exercises problems. The study uses a modeling method to build preservice teachers social adaptation pedagogical model. The model comprises a list of operations contributory to successful students social evolution to instructional activities. Students' successful conversion to professional activity is permissible under the status of the university, specially organized work, which is focused on the lecturer teaching student composition of natures. The article details the university organizational and pedagogical conditions, which will help the cerebral and social restructuring of students' experience and will form an adequate position in the teaching staff. The following means are proposed which increase the social evolution level: the development of curricula which contribute to the professional social adaptation; the educational practice programs improvement; development of a system of integrated psychological and pedagogical support in the learning process; the organization of the psychological and pedagogical training.
