“…It achieved acceptable results both in in vivo studies and in clinical trials. However, clinical results of BiOSS Expert and BiOSS LIM were not very different that was caused mainly by high late lumen loss values in case of BiOSS LIM . Therefore, the idea to reduce the late lumen loss and as a result TLR rate using thinner struts appeared…”

“…The device is easy to use, tracked over one wire, with very low profile with a wide range of lengths and diameters, making it applicable in almost all types of coronary bifurcations, including left main distal bifurcation. It is worth mentioning that the results achieved in this last location were even better than for regular bifurcations [54]. The 12-month MACE rate was 9.5% without cardiac death or definite ST. TLR and MI rates were 6.8% (n = 5) and 2.7% (n = 2), respectively.…”

“…Another dedicated bifurcation stent assessed in the setting of LM disease is BiOSS LIM balloon‐expandable stent. In the international registry data presented by Gil et al, 1‐year MACE rate was 9.5%, without cardiac death or definite ST. In that study, low rates of MI and TLR were noted, 2.7 and 6.8%, respectively.…”
