Localized distribution of alpha 9 integrin in the cornea and changes in expression during corneal epithelial cell differentiation.

Abstract: A recently characterized integrin alpha-chain, alpha 9, forms heterodimers with the integrin beta 1-chain and is present in the skin with a distribution similar to that of alpha 2 and alpha 3, other beta 1 integrins.
