Local Heterotic Torsional Models

Abstract: We present a class of smooth supersymmetric heterotic solutions with a non-compact Eguchi-Hanson space. The non-compact geometry is embedded as the base of a sixdimensional non-Kähler manifold with a non-trivial torus fiber. We solve the non-linear anomaly equation in this background exactly. We also define a new charge that detects the non-Kählerity of our solutions. June, 2008

“…The construction of [7] is local, and one has to ensure that the Bianchi identities are satisfied. For the holomorphic T 2 fibrations over Eguchi-Hanson space, the solution of the Bianchi identity has been given in [8] for the heterotic string. For this special case, we shall heavily rely on the analysis there.…”

“…If we put φ 1 (τ ) = φ 2 (τ ) ≡ 0 at this κ value, the remaining function is governed by the rotationally symmetric potential 21) admitting the kink solution (4.22) which interpolates between antipodal type C critical points via point B, …”
