Loading Control of Metal–Organic Frameworks in Fe3O4@MOFs Series Composite Adsorbents for Optimizing Dye Adsorption

Abstract: This study enhanced the dye adsorption capacity and efficiency over Fe 3 O 4 @MOFs series composite adsorbents through enhancing the loading of MOFs. A multiple loading method was developed for controlling the loading percentage of MOFs in Fe 3 O 4 @ MOFs series composite adsorbents, the values of which were calculated by the analysis of results of thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma mass spectromet… Show more

“…The equilibrium adsorption capacity of Rh B increased with increasing amount of MOF coating layer on the surface of Ag/AgCl nanowire, which is in accordance with our previous work. 50 Under visible light irradiation, Rh B degraded immediately under the catalysis of ACN-1, ACN-2 and ACN-3. However, Ag nanowires have little catalytic activity.…”

“…In the past, rhodamine B (RhB) was utilized as a coloring agent in leather, textiles, cosmetics, and other fields owing to its low cost and superior colorfastness [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]. With our increasing consciousness about food safety, RhB has been suggested to be toxic and even carcinogenic, negatively affecting food safety and directly threatening human life.…”
