Lo specifico del metodo psicoanalitico

Abstract

Visti gli stretti legami tra teoria e metodo, l’attuale disagio nel riguardi della teoria psicoanalitica viene a coinvolgere anche il metodo di cui è quindi necessario occuparsi. Dopo aver ripercorso l’adozione dei diversi metodi operata da Freud prima di approdare al metodo psicoanalitico, viene presa in considerazione la riflessione metodologica di D. Rapaport. Due le conclusioni più importanti: i) il metodo storico-clinico quale piattaforma su cui poggia il metodo psicoanalitico rimanda a scelte epistemiche ancorate a ritmi deterministici e causalistici di marca positivista; ii) lo specifico psicoanalitico della relazione interpersonale portata alle sue estreme conseguenze porta alla assolutizzazione della verbalizzazione dando luogo a solipsismo. In alternativa l’A. propone l’adozione di un metodo che chiama osservazione della relazione che pone lo psicoanalista sia all’interno sia all’esterno del sistema relazionale e che legittima la metalettura della relazione (interpretazione) grazie a parametri desunti dalla strutturazione del campo.
