This is also reflected in the plasma apolipoprotein profile of these patients in cluding increased concentrations of ApoB and ApoC-III [4], Although results of this study do not allow identification of a particular ApoB-containing lipoprotein family as the main contributor to the rate of progression of renal insuffi ciency, it appears from the increased concentrations of ApoB, ApoC-III and triglycerides in patients with a more rapid progression that some intact or partially delipidized triglyceride-rich lipoproteins might have a greater impact on this process than cholesterol-rich LP-B particles.…”
