Various morphologic liver injuries due to stings were described by Wegelin (1948), Gordon (1950), Schenken et al (1953, Glaser (1956), Wey (1956), Jonas & Sugar (1963), O'Connor et al (1963), Borochowitz & Hardoff (1982), Leclercq et al (1985), Weitzman et al (1985) and experimentally by Barr-Nea et al (1979). The lesions consisted of congestion, hemorrhage, steatosis, centrolobular necrosis, cholestasis, and Reye's syndrome-like picture.…”
