Light and the Development of the Organic Chemical Industry since Antiquity

Abstract: A more appropriate description for the light is as continuous and spreads sinusoidal motion (waves) described in terms of particles called photons. Dyes are organic molecules that selectively absorb wavelengths of light within the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum and are capable of transferring color to materials.
