Lifestyle and Risk Factors in Hemorrhoidal Disease

Abstract: Constipation, a low fiber diet, a high Body Mass Index, pregnancy, and a sedentary lifestyle are often assumed to increase the risk of hemorrhoidal disease (HD). However, evidence regarding these factors is controversial.
