Liberation of PGE1 from Lipo-PGE1 Preparations.

Abstract: A lipid emulsion containing PGE1 within its lipid particles (Lipo-PGE) is expected to repected PGE1 gradually from the lipid particles in clinical application. In medical practice, Lipo-PGE is generally applied after being diluted with infusion fluids. PGE1 is thus thought to be released rapidly from the lipid particles to the aqueous phase when Lipo PGE1 is diluted with infusion fluids.
