Let's Call it Quits: Break‐Even Effects in the Decision to Stop Taking Risks

Abstract: Chasing" behavior, whereby individuals, driven by a desire to break even, continue a risky activity (RA) despite incurring large losses, is a commonly observed phenomenon.
