Abstract: O estudo dos sedimentos do estuário Capibaribe mostra que os sedimentos do fundo do leito em geral são de areia grossa, que têm origem no revolvimento dos aluviões das margens e do fundo e que são cavados pelas correntes da maré, diretamente no enchimento arenoso da planície.O rio Capibaribe, quase sem potência no verão, não pode arrastar areias, transporta somente sedimentos finos, argilas especialmente, que vão se depositar sobre as margens.Esse depósito é feito sob a forma de banco de vasa argilosa e realiz… Show more
