A type of water dispersible graphene (PG) has been synthesized by nucleophilic ring‐opening reaction of the primary amine group in 3‐(1‐(2‐aminopropoxy) propan‐2‐ylamino) propane‐1‐sulfonate sodium (PPS) with epoxy groups on the basal plane of graphene oxide (GO), followed by in situ reduction with hydrazine hydrate. The PG is employed as nanoscale reinforcement fillers in waterborne acrylic modified alkyd resin (AMAR) coatings. The stability and corrosion resistance of the waterborne PG/AMAR nanocomposite coatings are investigated. SEM and stability of nanocomposite indicated that the PG sheet is uniformly distributed in AMAR nano‐emulsion. Potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies indicated that the PG/AMAR composite coatings exhibit higher corrosion resistance in simulated body fluid (SBF) compared with pure AMAR coatings and GO/AMAR coatings. In addition, the stability and corrosion resistance of the composite materials reach optimum when the PG content is 1%. Dans cet article, nous questionnons la construction de la professionnalisation des directeurs de la communication au regard de l’originalité, de l’atypie de leur parcours. Pour cette recherche, basée sur l’analyse de dix sept entretiens semi-directifs, nous nous sommes intéressés aux récits de vie de directeurs de la communication de grands groupes en France et en Belgique. Deux axes ont retenu notre attention : la formation des directeurs de la communication et la reconnaissance de la fonction à un niveau managérial. Nous présentons ici quatre résultats principaux. En effet, les dircoms mettent en scène leur récit de vie, lequel participe à développer une figure de dircom. Au delà d’une diversité de profils, voire de parcours atypiques, il se dégage un « modèle » de dircom, basé non sur des savoir-faire mais sur des qualités humaines communes : curiosité, engagement, pédagogie... Ce modèle se construit sur la relation au management et au directeur général plus particulièrement. De cette relation s'affirme une certaine forme de reconnaissance que les dircoms qualifient de stratégique, d’engageante… Ces qualificatifs peuvent également être appliqués aux pratiques propres à la fonction, pratiques qui se rapprochent de celles que Champy caractérise comme étant prudentielles.

Antoine Harfouche UFR SEGMI, Universite Paris-Nanterre, Nanterre, France Abstract Purpose -The purpose of this paper is to focus on an information technology (IT) deployment project in the specific field of agricultural cooperatives. It also aims to underline the importance of the IT implementation phase, but also the pre-implementation phase. Design/methodology/approach -A four-year canonical action research project was conducted within a network of more than 300 agricultural cooperatives. Research was carried out both during the IT implementation and after deployment. Key information was gathered through unstructured and unofficial interviews, observations, field notes, meetings, focus groups, and documentary analysis. Findings -Despite user resistance behavior, the findings show that information systems (IS) implementation may lead to unexpected results that extend beyond the tool's initial objectives. Indeed, four hidden facets of the tool were revealed: inductor, symbol, pretext, and reference. Research limitations/implications -Although the research is limited to one single-case study, it puts the emphasis on in-depth research, vs cross-sectional data collection, to analyze the relationship between IT implementation initiatives and organizational intelligence. Furthermore, the authors argue that while IS literature has separately developed related theories (actor-network theory, competitive intelligence), the authors conceptualize a whole theoretic system interrelating the two above-stated theories. Practical implications -The implication for IS practitioners is that, by focusing only on experiences that have occurred during IT implementation, one may disregard critical information, behaviors and knowledge from unforeseen effects that have occurred after implementation. In future IT projects, IS managers therefore need to capitalize on post-implementation knowledge, through sociology of translation and competitive intelligence, in order to anticipate potential diversions from the initial objectives.
