The case study is one of the most important forms of qualitative research in the field of organizational management and provides a rich analysis of modern phenomena and their context. This method entails the gathering of data from different sources with a view to critically analyzing management situations. It involves skepticism of typical theories and procedures with the objectives of determining critical variables and researching organizational change and development processes. This chapter is concerned with how case studies can be defined and used in relation to research questions. The method used in the research process is systematic with the R software to cover data gathering, analysis. The chapter is supported by qualitative case studies from the published literature to stress the practical applicability and importance of this research method in expanding the body of knowledge in organizational management.
