“…These wear resistant eutectic carbides consume Cr and diminish the corrosion resistance, which may be overcome in two ways. The first one consists of adding Nb to precipitate NbC for wear resistance and leave Cr for corrosion resistance in the matrix (GX150CrNbNiMo26-12-8) [31,32]).
