The high level of Pb in airborne particulate matter in Tangerang has also affected the lead concentrations (9-11 times higher than the control area) in the soil around the Tangerang lead smelting area (Adventini et al, 2017). These findings strongly suggest the need for action to avoid adverse human health impacts and related economic impacts related to emissions from this facility.…”
