Abstract: Die Reliquie des heiligen Kreuzbaumes in Gestalt eines doppelten Kreuzes, zur Zeit in Paris aufbewahrt, entstand gegen Hälfte des 13. Jhs. auf Bestellung von Manuel I. Komnen von Trébizonde. 1420 wurde des Reliquiar dem polnischen König Ladislaus Jagiello vin Abordnung des Kaisers Manuel II. Paleolog übergeben.
