“…Biological and social factors have a direct impact on the vulnerability to tuberculosis, such as malnutrition, age group, HIV infection, unhealthy housing, high population density, difficult access to health services, inadequate working conditions, among others (50) . In addition to these factors, this study, as well as others (21,35) , has shown that exposure during clinical practice in undergraduate health courses also increases the risk of exposure to M. tuberculosis, and consequently, LTBI.
