Large Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Mediastinum Successfully Treated with Systemic Chemotherapy after Palliative Radiotherapy

Abstract: Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) is a highly malignant cancer originally found in lung in 1991. In extremely rare occasions, primary LCNEC is found in the mediastinum; approximately 40 of such cases have been reported.
