Language Localization of Ukrainian Outdated Vocabulary via Audiovisual Translation Into English

Abstract: The article explores the features of language localization of Ukrainian archaic, dialectal, or rarely used lexical units in English interpretation of a series “There Will Be People” (in Ukrainian, “І будуть люди”). The study examines the implementation of outdated vocabulary in the series, its translation, usage in the past and modern-day functioning.
