Abstract: <p>El manuscrito de Gaspar Antonio Chi, “Relación de algunas costumbres de los indios de... Yucatán” (1582) (Archivo General de Indias, México 110 (58-6-24), Sevilla, España), conservado solamente en fragmentos, ha sido traducido, reconstruido y publicado en el idioma inglés, aunque con omisiones y faltas.<br />El presente trabajo contiene una transcripción íntegra y una reconstrucción del documento, y trata de poner al descubierto sus motivos históricos.</p>
